Golak Prasad Sahoo is an Associate Professor of Law, Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi. Completing LL.B. and LL.M. from Utkal University, Odisha, he joined as an assistant Professor of Law and also obtained Doctoral Programme from Banaras Hindu University. While serving as a faculty member, he has conceived an original idea to introduce the Information Technology Law and taught contextually subjects like Cyber Law and Policy, Transfer of Property, Civil Procedure Code, Indian Contract, Banking and Company Laws etc. He has widely acclaimed name in the judicial, legal and professional circles and is a visiting scholar of several universities and legal institutions in India.
