About the BOOK

How should the criminal justice system respond to the demands of crime victims? Have victims' rights been overlooked in the pursuit of bringing a criminal to "justice" ? Who are the victims of crime and why are they targeted ? Giving victims of crime a greater role in the criminal justice system is a relatively recent development, a trend likely to continue and increase in the foreseeable future.
