Prof. (Dr.) Meenakshi Gandhi Dean - Vivekananda School of Business studies, Vivekananda Institute of Professional Studies, Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University. Dr. Meenakshi Gandhi has a close to two decades of academic work experience in the areas of Teaching, Training, Research, Institution building, Academic administration, research enhancement & women capacity building activities. Women Leadership development is her keen area of work and she is pursuing a major research project on University Leadership for women in India. Strength development for leadership among women is close to her heart and she is a firm believer of the fact that leadership development happens when women coach women in turn and develop networks, mentors who shall take the gender diversity and inclusivity forward. A keen researcher, her interest areas are Entrepreneurship, Women leadership in Higher Education, Enhancing quality of higher education and employability skills. She is responsible for teaching entrepreneurship & strategy courses at postgraduate level, of which subjects include Enterprise Formation, Enterprise Development, Small Business Consulting and International Business Consulting. Her research interests include entrepreneurship education and growth in small firms. She has published five books and over 30 research papers in journals and presented her research work at various national and international conferences including IIM Ahmedabad, IIT Delhi, MDI, IMT Ghaziabad, AIMA and others. She is PhD thesis examiner for a few universities and served as the Session Chair for the International journal of Arts & sciences Conference held at Ryerson University, Toronto May 2013, 21st Century Academic forum at Harvard among others. She is a life member of the Delhi management Association, Commerce & management Association of India and on the review panel of various international and national journals.
